Card Details/Deposits

For all reservations we do not require deposits but do require your debit/credit card details.
We will only charge your card IF YOU DO NOT TURN UP and we are left with an empty
table. We will charge 10 per booked person. Most customers understand that “No
Shows” can seriously damage small restaurants and let us know when they cannot attend.

If you can’t make your booking, please do the courteous thing and give us 24hrs notice at
least. Every reservation is sent a confirmation email/text at the time of booking and again
another email/text, 24 hours prior to the reservation.

Cancel & Confirm Your Reservation

It’s super easy to cancel your booking. Simply, go to your OpenTable confirmation text,
click on the link and select “cancel”. This is the exact same for the email confirmation

you receive from OpenTable.

If your booking is in less than 24 hours, you won’t be able
to modify or cancel this yourself so just send us an email at
[email protected],
leave a voicemail or send us a FB message. Our booking system is run by OpenTable so

if you’re experiencing any problems, please contact them directly here

We are unable to honour any unconfirmed reservations without a confirmation text/email/
booking reference. We politely ask that you are ready to be seated at your time of booking or
contact us via email, FB or OpenTable if you are running late. You can also call us on
059917088. Once we’re in service, it’s hard to answer all calls so please leave a voicemail.

We will hold your table for 15 minutes and will release it if we have not been contacted.


While we do not offer a separate kids’ menu, all ages are welcome. Always include children
in your booking number- ( 2 adults & 1 child is a booking for 3 people ). Younger children
must be noted on your booking so we can ensure your table is appropriate & have ample
room for buggies or highchairs. Just leave a comment in the “special request” section when
making your booking.

Children 0-10 years are very welcome at tables, with adults, seated
before 6.30pm. We do provide highchairs and baby changing facilities. Due to the age of the
building, slightly uneven floors and garden area, we urge all parents not to leave their kids
unsupervised or run around the restaurant. Our staff carry hot dishes/beverages and large
trays with drink which can cause accidents if kids are unattended.

Group Bookings

For groups of 6 or more, we require you to order from our group menu. THIS IS THE ONLY

Please make us aware of any group number reductions within 24hrs of your booking otherwise there will be a charge of 15pp for late cancellations or no-shows. Our aim is to create an environment where everyone is welcome & enjoys Mimosa with this in mind, we work hard to protect the ambience so everyone can enjoy their night to the fullest.

To ensure this is possible, all parties over 6 people are seated in Residencia where they can
enjoy the larger rooms.

Dietary Requirements

To ensure that we can cater for you appropriately, please notify us of any dietary requirements prior to your visit. Although we have vegan dishes on our menu, we are not a vegan/vegetarian restaurant so please ensure you are happy with the available menu choices BEFORE booking. Due to the complexity of our kitchen, we are unable to accommodate those with severe gluten or nut sensitivity.

Smoking Areas

Smoking is strictly prohibited at the front entrance of Mimosa. We do have designated smoking areas. If you’re seated in Residencia, please use ashtrays provided in the front courtyard. If you’re seating in Mimosa or garden, you will clearly see assigned area for smoking. We don’t allow smoking or vaping in any other areas of the garden so please be mindful to others dining in the same area as you.


Due to the small dining areas in Mimosa unfortunately we cannot cater for STAG or HEN parties .
